Privacy at a glance

  • β€’ Sensitive health logs are private by default.
  • β€’ Memovela uses email one-time codes for sign-in.
  • β€’ Product analytics are separated from health content.
  • β€’ You can export your data and request account deletion from inside the product.

What we collect

Memovela stores the account details you provide, the health and habit logs you intentionally save, profile settings, and app preferences needed to run your account.

Account and sign-in information

To create and access your account, Memovela may store your username, email address, profile settings, device session details, and sign-in verification records. Memovela currently uses passwordless email login for supported clients, which means sign-in codes are sent to the email address associated with your account.

How private health data is handled

Sensitive health logs are private by default. Memovela does not expose that content publicly unless the product later adds an explicit sharing control for that exact data type.

Imported and connected data

If you choose to connect external sources such as Apple Health, Apple Watch, Strava, or quick-import flows that Memovela supports, Memovela stores the imported entries, source labels, and related metadata needed to show that information inside your account. Imported data is treated as private account data unless Memovela clearly offers a separate sharing control for that content.

Analytics boundary

Product analytics are separated from health content. Notes, meals, values, photos, tokens, and imported payload details are excluded from the sanitized analytics stream.

How data is used

Memovela uses account and app data to provide the product, authenticate sign-ins, sync your preferences, display your saved logs, support optional imports, improve reliability, and respond to support or safety issues. Memovela does not need your private health entries in order to run coarse product analytics.

Your controls

You can update language and preference settings, export your account data, and request account deletion from the privacy controls available inside Settings.

Retention and deletion

Memovela keeps account data for as long as it is needed to operate your account and provide features you continue to use. When you request account deletion, Memovela deactivates the account, revokes active mobile sessions, removes private health data, and anonymizes shared community content where needed so other users are not affected.

Children and medical use

Memovela is a personal tracking and education product, not a medical device, emergency service, or replacement for professional care. If you believe a child has provided personal information in a way that should be reviewed, contact support so the team can look into it.

Questions

If you have privacy questions or need help with your data, contact the Memovela team through the support options in the app or website settings.
